About Hello World

"Hello World" expresses the confidence and drive that I, JTK, now wield after the triumph over some of life's adversities. It's I saying that I'm now ready to take on the task of the world.

 

The Story & About 

Like a program reset or a new software launch, this is a fresh start for me. "Hello World" is a classic programming language phrase that's used to depict a new beginning. 

I released my very first work in 2015. Then, I was "Josh the Kila" before "Josh the Killer", and finally JTK or Jtk. Fast forward to 2023 April. I thought, "Is it time to draw the curtains? I don't think I've made much progress with music, financially. I know I've developed my artistry ridiculously, but the money isn't coming in as I hoped yet, and I can't make earns meet out of what I currently earn. After deliberating for about two weeks, I decided to start afresh and rebuild my career like a new program.

This album is a fresh start for me, and everything prior was a learning phase. It was my way of seeing the past as valuable lessons and knowledge rather than failure. Also to stay active, I compiled a few great songs I knew were high-energy.

 

More on Hello World

Since it's a fresh start, I'll start strong. So, I put together songs I'd been working on that came from a place of confidence and drive to just go at the world, go at it, whatever, everything. It's like, "Hey, I'm Josh. I'm dope AF, and here is why. In my next songs or albums, I'll dive deeper into telling you more about who I am and what makes me human and vulnerable.
